Manchester United’s launch of the club’s away kit of the 2025/26 season has been greeted with anger by supporters, who were hopeful that the signing of Bryan Mbeumo would be announced at the same time.

United are struggling to get a deal over the line for the Brentford attacker, and while there have been some positive signals in recent hours, the Red Devils have only signing Matheus Cunha as a major new arrival this summer.

Fans are being left frustrated with this lack of action, with the new Premier League season only a month away.

If Man Utd hoped that the new away kit might distract fans, they were proven wrong.

Popular influencer Mark Goldbridge summed up the feeling of many supporters by simply tweeting, “.......” in response to the announcement.

Replying to Goldbridge, a supporter fumed: “Sign some bloody players, sell some bloody players. Ratcliffe and Glazers scum of the earth!”

Another Man Utd fan account raged: “We are a football club not a business!”

One supporter commented: “No one cares. Pointless releasing a kit if you have cr*p players playing in it.”

Another simply said: “Where’s Mbeumo?”

Increasing frustration over lack of signings

Man Utd are increasingly coming under attack from their own supporters due to their lack of transfer action.

Earlier this week, just hours after Chelsea won the Club World Cup and Arsenal secured a deal for Viktor Gyokeres, the Red Devils posted a clip of a lawnmower cutting the grass at their Carrington training base.

This was an action that left supporters furious with the lack of progress on Mbeumo.

“Other clubs are signing players and we’re uploading videos of the ground being mowed, fantastic,” a fan replied.

This was very much the tone of reply the Red Devils received as another supporter said: “Get a grip and sign some bloody players!”
