Fabrizio Romano Transfer News: Man Utd to SAVE Gyokeres, Arsenal RIVAL Chelsea for Hato, Nypan BOMB

Fabrizio Romano has provided some massive updates on the biggest transfer stories from around Europe, including the latest on Viktor Gyokeres, Jorrel Hato and Sverre Nypan.
Leverkusen want Quansah and Bade

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano revealed that Bayer Leverkusen are interested in Liverpool's Jarrell Quansah and Sevilla's Loic Bade.
"There are two names on Bayer Leverkusen's list to replace Jonathan Tah. One of the players they want is Loic Bade at Sevilla, a defender they really like at Leverkusen. The other one remains Jarell Quansah from Liverpool.
"During the contact for Florian Wirtz - [the] deal is agreed between Liverpool and Leverkusen - but in a separate discussion, they also spoke about Quansah as part of a conversation in a separate deal.
"It's between Quansah and also Bade. For Quansah, an important point is about the salary of the player, because obviously Leverkusen have a different salary structure."
Arsenal make Hato call

Next up, Romano reported that Arsenal had made contact for Chelsea target Jorrel Hato.
"Since the Dean Huijsen deal didn't happen for Chelsea and Arsenal, both clubs remain interested in Jorrell Hato. And my understanding is that in the last week, after Chelsea in recent weeks, also Arsenal continued to call to be informed on the situation of Hato.
"He remains a player appreciated by Chelsea and also Arsenal because they are looking for a talented defender, looking for that kind of profile for the summer. Hato remains in the list of both clubs. So after Chelsea, now Arsenal are calling for Hato.
"At the moment, there's still nothing to describe that as an advanced deal or anything close to being completed. But some calls are ongoing, and so we will see what's going to happen on that one."
Man City to sign Nypan

Romano then confirmed that Man City are closing in on a deal for Sverre Nypan.
"Man City are advancing in the negotiations to sign Sverre Nypan and overtake Aston Villa. What happened with Villa? In January, Arsenal, Man City with Girona, so City Group, and Villa were in the race.
"Then basically what happened is that Aston Villa advanced on this deal, but then because of not entering into the Champions League, financially this is proving complicated. And now Man City are advancing again on this one.
The player was already in Manchester a few months ago, spoke to Man City. My understanding is that the idea is still for the player to go to Girona. So first step at Girona and then the future at Man City."
Sane and De Bruyne seal Bosman transfers

Romano also corroborated that Leroy Sane and Kevin de Bruyne are set to seal free-transfer moves to Galatasaray and Napoli, respectively.
"Leroy Sane, the agents are now working on this deal in Turkey, in Istanbul, to get the deal done with Galatasaray. Kevin de Bruyne is going to play for Napoli on a two-year contract with a one-year option.
Then breaking news right after Galatasaray are confident to close the deal for Sane, advancing on this deal. Sane informed Bayern that he's rejecting their contract proposal. Now, Galatasaray are closing the deal for Sane on a three-year contract on a massive salary."
Gyokeres fumes at Sporting

Lastly, Romano shed light on the situation of Viktor Gyokeres at Sporting CP after his falling out with club president Frederico Varandas.
"Basically, there was a pact between the agents of Viktor Gyokeres and Sporting since last summer for Sporting to accept this summer, summer 2025, a transfer fee of around €65 million plus add-ons. So not the release clause of €100m.
"They wanted to respect Gyokeres, who had the possibility to leave the club one year ago, and he didn't. Then the coach leaves in November, and maybe any other top player would say, 'OK, I'm going, I'm leaving in January.' No, Gyokeres respects Sporting, wins the trophies, the league and also the cup, fantastic season with 63 goals, 10 assists, unbelievable season again for Gyokeres.
"Sporting were prepared to give the green light. But today, the president of Sporting says in public that he's not accepting €65m as a fixed transfer fee for Gyokeres. He wants more. He said not €100m, but more than €65m. The player is not happy with that, of course.
"We saw on social media the player removing from his Instagram account the Sporting reference. The player was expecting to be facilitated in his exit from the club this summer. At the moment, this is still not the case. The president said, 'we still don't have an official bid.'
"But let me repeat that the calls are still there. Man Utd have called last week, have called over the weekend, and have called again this week for Gyokeres to be informed about the player, to understand the conditions, to understand what's going on with Sporting, to understand if there is still a chance to make it happen financially after not making it into Champions League.
"Man Utd have been in active talks for Gyokeres in terms of understanding the situation, not club-to-club talks. There is no bid from Man Utd as of this afternoon. We will see in the next days, but for sure, this tense situation between Gyokeres and Sporting is an important point of the story.
"And remember that he remains also on Arsenal's list in case the [Benjamin] Sesko deal doesn't happen. But for Sesko, the conversations are ongoing, advancing. Sesko remains the priority, but Gyokeres is still on Arsenal's list in case that deal doesn't happen."
