Real Madrid agree deal to sign Dean Huijsen - Fabrizio Romano

Real Madrid have reached an agreement to complete the signing of Dean Huijsen, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Dutch-born Spain international is on the verge of securing his dream transfer. Despite the fact that the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have been pushing for weeks to sign Huijsen, he has opted to go with his heart and head back to Spain.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid have now reached a full agreement with the 20-year-old on personal terms, meaning that the deal to sign him is effectively completed.
Huijsen will now undergo his medical and then officially put pen to paper on his contract. Earlier this week, Real Madrid informed Bournemouth of their intention to trigger his €60 million release clause, which can be paid in three instalments.
Romano reports that Huijsen, just like head coach Xabi Alonso and potentially Trent Alexander-Arnold, will be available to feature at the Club World Cup for Los Blancos.
Real Madrid sign Huijsen
The Spanish giants have managed to beat off the determined competition from some of the Premier League's most affluent clubs to sign one of Europe's most promising talents.
Huijsen has established himself as a top Premier League defender this season, and Real Madrid pursued him as a priority following a discussion on transfer targets with new boss Alonso.

Romano reports that Huijsen will sign a five-year contract with Real Madrid. Spanish outlet AS, meanwhile, states that the youngster has 'sacrificed a lot of money' to join the 15-time Spanish champions.
The assertion is that Huijsen could have secured a more lucrative transfer had he opted to remain in the Premier League, with the Spain international now set to receive between €9m and €11m annually. His Premier League suitors would have been prepared to go a lot higher.
