Arsenal were fairly cautious in the 2024 summer transfer window, but they are expected to back Mikel Arteta with several big-money signings this time around.
The Gunners are aiming to bring in a number of reinforcements this summer as they look to provide Arteta with a squad capable of finally winning the Premier League title.
Below, FootballTransfers runs through five players who could join Arsenal this summer.

Nico Williams (Athletic Club)
Arsenal wanted to sign Nico Williams during the 2024 summer transfer window and after failing to reach an agreement for the Spain star, they will attempt a deal yet again this year.
FootballTransfers understands that a move to the Emirates Stadium is on the cards, although Arsenal will need to convince Williams to leave his beloved Athletic Club in order to finalise a transfer.
Barelona, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also keenly watching his situation.

Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad)
Real Madrid had been hoping to hijack Arsenal’s deal for Martin Zubimendi, but the Real Sociedad star is expected to move to north London following the conclusion this summer.
Arsenal are set to lose both Thomas Partey and Jorginho on free transfers, and they have identified Zubimendi as their dream midfield target as a result.
Arsenal will reportedly pay slightly more than his €60m release clause in order to get better payment terms.
Viktor Gyokeres (Sporting CP)
Arsenal are scrambling to add a prolific centre-forward to their squad this summer and have identified Viktor Gyokeres as one of their top targets for the position.
Arsenal have been the favourites to sign him for weeks, but the Gunners have gone somewhat cold on the Swede, although he remains a viable option.
Gyokeres' exit from Sporting CP is already pretty much sealed, with the player currently feuding with the club over his transfer fee.
Benjamin Sesko (RB Leipzig)
RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko was Arsenal's top target last year, and this is again the case this summer, although there was a period when the Gunners were prioritising Gyokeres.
However, Sesko's age and potential have seen him surge back to the top of Arsenal's shortlist and talks with RB Leipzig are proceeding positively.
Sesko is keen on the move, and it would come as a shock if Arsenal were unable to get a deal over the line.
Kepa Arrizabala (Chelsea)
David Raya is the undisputed number one goalkeeper at the Emirates Stadium, but the Gunners are looking to sign a back-up option this summer, with Neto returning to Bournemouth following his loan spell in north London.
Espanyol star Joan Garcia had been the Gunners' top option, but Barcelona swooped in to sign their city rivals' shot-stopper, forcing Arsenal to look at different options.
The Gunners appear to have settled on Chelsea outcast Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is available for just €6m due to a release clause.
