Chelsea reintegrate two 'Bomb Squad' members into Maresca's team
Chelsea have brought Carney Chukwuemeka and Cesare Casadei back into the first-team fold, according to a report.
The English transfer window is closed and the rest of the world is slowly but surely following suit. This means that clubs will have to make decisions on the unwanted players they did not manage to offload in the summer.
Chelsea, of course, have several stars who fall into this category. The Blues had a double-digit 'Bomb Squad' during the summer window and, unsurprisingly, not all of their outcasts managed to secure moves away.

Ben Chilwell is the most prominent member left and it is looking increasingly unlikely that he will be able to get out of Stamford Bridge. Having been simply ignored by three Turkish clubs after offering up his services, the England left-back will likely have to spend the next four months on the outside looking it.
Other members of the 'Bomb Squad' who remained won't have to share Chilwell's fate, however.
Maresca reinstates duo
According to The Athletic, midfielder duo Carney Chukwuemeka and Cesare Casadei have been reinstated and will now be reintegrated into Enzo Maresca's first team.
The Blues were open to offers for the young pair during the summer window but were not desperately trying to offload them, hence the willingness to bring them back into the fold.

Unlike Chilwell, who has been told in no uncertain terms that he doesn't fit Maresca's system, Chukwuemeka and Casadei could have roles to play under the Italian, with the latter having already featured for his compatriot on loan at Leicester last season.
Both were part of Chelsea's UEFA Conference League squad that was announced on Thursday and they will now officially become part of the first team again.
