Manchester United are set for a busy summer of transfer action as Sir Jim Ratcliffe prepares for his first window in charge of all football operations at Old Trafford.

Several big-name players have been targeted as possible new signings, but there are also a number of stars who are likely to leave Man Utd amid their INEOS rebuild.

Below, FootballTransfers runs through five players who could leave Man Utd this summer.

Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial is out of contract at the end of June and it has been confirmed that he will leave Man Utd this summer.

The Frenchman has endured an injury-hit past few seasons and hasn’t been first-choice for several years. A replacement is expected to be signed.

Raphael Varane

Centre-back has been identified as a problem position for Man Utd and the Red Devils may need to sign a successor to Raphael Varane, with the ex-Real Madrid star heavily linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Just like Martial, Varane has also been injury prone lately and reports of a potential exit have continuously been made since last year.

Jonny Evans

Jonny Evans only signed a one-year contract when he rejoined Man Utd on a free transfer last summer and while keeping him in the squad may be deemed a sensible idea, given his experience, an exit is certainly a possibility.

The Northern Irishman has been troubled with injury issues and Ten Hag may opt against extending his stay at Old Trafford amid Willy Kambwala’s emergence and the pursuit of Jarrad Branthwaite.

Casemiro

Casemiro has been widely criticised this season and Jamie Redknapp even recently compared him to a ‘Soccer Aid’ player following his performance against Bournemouth.

Man Utd paid a whopping €70.7 million to sign him in 2022 and while suitors may be limited, the Red Devils could look to offload Casemiro to fund a move for Amadou Onana. The Saudi Pro League could be a potential destination.

Christian Eriksen

Christian Eriksen will have one year left on his contract at Old Trafford this summer and the early consensus is that he will be sold.

The Denmark international reportedly wants to leave Man Utd after falling down the pecking order and we understand he will be offloaded if a suitable offer arrives.
