Manchester United are willing to listen to offers for the majority of their squad, according to a report.

The Red Devils are set for a big summer, the first under new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe. The INEOS chief is still working on installing new senior figures to lead Man Utd's transfer business going forward, but the summer is already shaping up to be a very significant one.

While it is still unclear whether or not head coach Erik ten Hag will survive the season, with new technical director Jason Wilcox having launched a one-month audit on his work after the embarrassing FA Cup semi-final against Coventry, what is clear is that the playing squad needs a real injection of quality.

However, according to The Telegraph, Man Utd will be operating on a smaller budget than many would have perhaps anticipated, especially in light of the fact that they will most likely be without Champions League football next term. This means, claims the report, that Ratcliffe and company are set to take an 'ultra-flexible' approach to the club's transfer business.

Only three stars off limits

It is asserted that the new Man Utd hierarchy is willing to listen to offers for every single player apart from rising stars Kobbie Mainoo, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho. Even homegrown superstar Marcus Rashford is available for the right price.

Of course, Ratcliffe and company aren't actively looking to offload someone like Rashford, but they are willing to enter into talks if a suitable offer were to arrive. Rashford was previously the subject of interest from PSG but the full financial package required to sign him makes an exit unlikely.

It is further claimed that Man Utd will be forced to adopt a 'sell-to-buy' policy if they miss out on European football entirely. Loanees Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Donny van de Beek are all expected to get sold this summer. Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial will leave Man Utd for free, while the likes of Casemiro, Antony, Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka could also be shifted.
