Man Utd are heading for the most important transfer window in their recent history with a brave new world in play at Old Trafford.

It's been another wild season in M16 with Erik ten Hag struggling to build on an impressive start as United coach.

The latest bump in the road was a massively disappointing finish in that 4-3 loss to Chelsea - they had led 3-2 deep into stoppage time.

Off the pitch though there is now great hope with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS acquiring 25% of the club from the Glazers, AND crucially taking over all football operations.
