There have been a number of reports in recent weeks that Arsenal will make a bid for the 23-year-old this summer.

And Nacional reports on Wednesday that the Gunners have tabled a ‘fresh offer’ for Rodrygo, making the Real Madrid man their main attacking target in the transfer window.

The report adds that Real Madrid have made it clear to Arsenal that they will not accept an offer lower than €90 million for the former Santos player.

Will Rodrygo leave due to Mbappe?

According to El Larguero, though, the Brazilian attacker is adamant that he will be staying at Madrid next season despite being potentially forced onto the bench by Kylian Mbappe.

The certain arrival of Mbappe on a free transfer from PSG has been used as a reason why both Rodrygo and Madrid could be open to a sale to the Premier League.

However, El Larguero report that Rodrygo has no intention of joining Arsenal and is looking forward to welcoming Mbappe next season.

It remains to be seen whether Madrid will attempt to push Rodrygo out if Arsenal continue their push for the attacker.

Rodrygo has enjoyed another productive season for Los Blancos, scoring 15 goals in all competitions.

But the arrival of Mbappe could see his game time reduced.

Arsenal have made the signing of at least one top attacker a priority in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are still short on a prolific number 9, while they also lack alternatives to wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League title race behind Liverpool, falling behind the Reds after a 0-0 draw at fellow challengers and champions Man City on Sunday.
