Liverpool and Chelsea are expected to battle it out in the race to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko, who is set for a big-money move this summer.

The Belgian wonderkid has shone since breaking into the PSV senior team in 2023 and he has been tipped to achieve great things on the European stage in the future.

He is currently tearing things up for PSV, however Bakayoko could well be playing his football in the Premier League very soon.

The former have been chasing the Belgium international for quite some time as they eye a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, while the latter have identified Bakayoko as a potential summer signing as they eye forward reinforcements.

Burnley and Brentford also tried to sign him during the 2024 January transfer window, but Bakayoko rejected a PSV exit, stating that he would not leave the club mid-season even if €100 million had been offered.
