Under pressure Premier League managers, including Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag and Chelsea’s Mauricio Pochettino, face a new threat to their positions in the months ahead as one high-profile boss has appointed a new agent in a bid to earn a dream move to the Premier League.

Former Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick has moved to appoint super-agent Pini Zahavi as his new representative.

Zahavi, 80, has previously worked with many of Europe’s biggest clubs and was notably a key figure as Robert Lewandowski moved to Barcelona from Bayern Munich, while he also played a role as Thiago Silva joined Chelsea from PSG.

The move is indicative of Flick’s desire to get back into management following his sacking by Germany in September 2023.

Flick wants Premier League move

FootballTransfers understands that Flick’s main goal is to win a manager’s job at a Premier League club, with a trio of major positions potentially up for grabs in the coming months.

Manchester United boss Ten Hag and Chelsea’s Pochettino both find themselves under pressure and could be out of work before the season concludes, while it has already been confirmed that Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the campaign.

Flick is also open to the possibility of a move to Spain as something of a backup option.

Barcelona have already been linked with a potential move for the German. It has already been confirmed that Xavi will depart Camp Nou in the summer and Flick is reportedly one of the names high up their list of preferences.

Meanwhile, Flick’s successor at Bayern, Thomas Tuchel, remains under pressure following a 1-0 loss to Lazio in the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday, though reports in Germany indicate that the former PSG and Chelsea manager is not in any imminent danger of being removed from his post.
