Three Premier League clubs have enquired about Chelsea target Roony Bardghji and Barcelona are also in the mix, according to a report.

The Copenghagen youngster is regarded as one of Europe's biggest prospects and he has been living up to the hype this season. Prolific for his side in Denmark, the Swedish wonderkid properly announced himself to the world by scoring the winner against Man Utd in the Champions League earlier in the season.

The teenager has already switched agents in anticipation of a move and it is believed that it is only a matter of time before he departs Denmark's capital. Bardghji is under contract until December 2025, but the 18-year-old will most likely depart in 2024, perhaps already this month.

Chelsea are said to be long-time admirers of the Swede and he would certainly fit the bill in terms of the profile of player the Blues have been looking for since Todd Boehly took over the club. Bardghji has the potential to become one of the world's best.

However, the Blues aren't the only interested side.

At least four suitors

According to Sky Sports, three Premier League clubs have recently enquired at Copenhagen about Bardghji's availability. Whether Chelsea are among those three was not disclosed, but it seems safe to assume.

Additionally, Barcelona are also keen on the 18-year-old, but it seems nigh on impossible that they would have the means to pursue a deal. Copenhagen are said to value the teenager at at least €25 million.

This fee appears to be outside of Barcelona's current financial capabilities. The Blaugrana were recently forced to cool their interest in Bardghji's compatriot Lucas Bergvall because his club slapped a €15m price tag on his head.

Copenhagen will need to sell sooner rather than later because Bardghji has no intention of extending his current deal with the Danish giants.
