Manchester City are internally discussing the possibility of adding Sávio to the team next season, reports transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano.

The winger is making a big impression at Girona, who are loaning him from Ligue 2 side Troyes. The three clubs are all part of City Football Group, so Man City technically already own him.

In addition to City, other clubs in the Premier League and several sides in the Bundesliga are also interested in the signing of Sávio. An asking price of approximately €30 million is being circulated.

The attacker is still under contract with Troyes until 2027. In any case, the exciting winger will stay at Girona until the end of the season.

From Eredivise flop to LaLiga star

It was also previously reported that Barcelona and Lazio have the Brazilian in their sights. The latter are said to have even inquired with Troyes about the Brazilian's availability.

Barcelona, it is asserted, have already been tracking the 19-year-old for the past two to three years and are now interested again. The player also previously claimed that he was at one point close to joining Arsenal.

Additionally, Sávio expressed his desire to one day play for Manchester City, the largest club within City Football Group. “I knew when I signed that Troyes was part of the City Football Group and my thought was to work my way up to Manchester City,” Sávio said in an interview with Sport. “Of course, I have to continue to perform at Girona to achieve this.”

The Brazil youth international was loaned to PSV last season but did not perform well in the Eredivisie due to injuries. After the arrival of Peter Bosz, the Eindhoven club wanted to keep him, but Sávio opted for a contract with Girona.

He has been doing excellently in Catalunya so far: in 20 games, he has scored five goals and notched as many assists for the surprising joint-leaders of LaLiga.
