Ten Hag punishes Man Utd derby flops FOUR times

Manchester United’s stars were given a remarkable punishment by manager Erik ten Hag after they were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City in a Premier League derby encounter on Sunday.
United were well beaten by their rivals, with Erling Haaland netting twice to extend his lead at the top of the scoring charts.
It was not only the final result that alarmed Man Utd fans, but the nature in which it was achieved, with City running rampant in the second half of the game, raising rumours that the Old Trafford club could soon bite the bullet and pay the millions that it will take to sack Ten Hag.
In the meantime, the Dutchman continues to cling onto his job and is doing his best to find new ways to motivate his under-performing stars, who have won only five of 10 Premier League games so far this season.

How Ten Hag punished his players after Man City defeat
According to The Sun, Ten Hag’s latest punishment for Man Utd’s players involved four stages.
Firstly, when the squad got back to the changing room, he made them sit in silence as Pep Guardiola’s City players celebrated in the tunnel and in their changing room. It is claimed that he also “wanted them to hear away fans still hailing their heroes”.
After that, Ten Hag launched a furious tirade against his team for the nature of their display after the break.
Additionally, a bonus day off training that he had pencilled in for Tuesday was scrapped, although the players would only have enjoyed this extra rest had they won against City on Sunday. Instead, the players were recalled to discuss events from 48 hours earlier.
Finally, Ten Hag is giving his Man Utd stars what is being branded as “extra homework”, including personalised videos that “show where they went wrong” against City.
With some critics claiming that the manager has lost the dressing room, how his players react against these measures against Newcastle in the EFL Cup on Wednesday will give some indication of how much influence Ten Hag really retains.
