Greenwood had been suspended by Man Utd since January 2022, the day of his arrest for suspicion of rape and assault, before moving to Spain.

Now, he is seeking a permanent move to Getafe, according to The Sun. However, Jose Bordalas’ team will not have a free run at signing Greenwood on a permanent deal as Sevilla also want to sign him, according to The Mirror.

In addition, there are other unnamed La Liga clubs who are keen on landing Greenwood too.

Greenwood to Jamaica?

Jamaica coach Heimir Hallgrimsson has confirmed his nation's FA are trying to persuade Greenwood to switch his international allegiances from England to Jamaica.

Greenwood has one England cap to his name but is still eligible to represent Jamaica. “We would like to have the best talent on our team," Hallgrimsson recently said. "If he [Greenwood] gets his former fitness and former levels, then for sure he would have that level to help Jamaica.”
