Ousmane Dembele has emerged as a surprise target for Arsenal and the latest SciSports data shows that the Frenchman could well be worth the fee.

Despite joining Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window, Spanish outlet Fichajes states that the Gunners, along with Tottenham, have their eye on the 26-year-old winger ahead of the January window.

Dembele joined PSG for a fee of around €50 million from Barcelona over the summer. But report from Fichajes states that three Premier League clubs are keeping close tabs on the player’s situation and are weighing up a move for him in 2024, with PSG believed to be willing to cash in on him.

West Ham United are included as one of the most interested parties but they would have to contend with London rivals Arsenal and Spurs, the report suggests.

SciSports data shows that Dembele is among the best-performing wingers in France - he is one of the highest for passing, dribbling, and pressing, but his numbers around finishing leave a lot to be desired.

Dembele is yet to find the back of the net for PSG, though he has an assist to his name. The France international had a dour period at Barcelona during his spell there, but the addition of Xavi as the coach saw a rise in form for the winger at the Nou Camp.

The attacker made the move to PSG over the summer window, with PSG looking to overhaul the side following the exits of Neymar and Lionel Messi.

Dembele has come in with high expectations and has so far done well at the Parc des Princes this new campaign.
