Inter are demanding that Arsenal lower their Folarin Balogun asking price or else they will move on to different targets, according to Italian media.

The Gunners' demands for their academy graduate are once again causing problems. Coming off a sensational season with Stade Reims in Ligue 1, Balogun's stocks are at an all-time high.

Having hit 22 goals in the league last term, Balogun is understandably keen to once again be a starting striker this season, but Arsenal can't offer him that role with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah at the club. Faced with limited minutes, the American wants out of north London.

Arsenal's demands - said to be as much as €50 million - are seen as unrealistic by most clubs around Europe, however, given that last term was Balogun's first successful season of top-level football.

The player has already demanded that Arsenal lower their asking price and now Inter have followed suit.

Balogun wants Inter

That's at least according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Nerrazzuri have been the most determined suitors, but it seems they are getting sick of waiting around as they simply can't pay what Arsenal want.

Monaco are also in the mix, but their €30m offer has already been rebuffed by the Gunners. Balogun, for his part, has hinted that he is keen to make the switch to Milan by posting a picture of Ronaldo Nazario during his Inter days in a recent Instagram story.

Having seen Gianluca Scamacca sign for Atalanta and with just a few weeks left in the window, Inter are keen to finally add a striker and they are ready to move on to other options like Porto's Mehdi Taremi should Arsenal refuse to budge.

The Nerrazzuri are reportedly ready to put €35m plus bonuses on the table for the American striker, but their uncertain financial situation makes any higher offer impossible.
