Chelsea are the latest club to take an interest in PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe, but the Stamford Bridge side face still competition from Real Madrid and also the Saudi Pro League, where Al-Hilal are formulating a €400 million contract for the France star.

PSG have announced that Mbappe will not take part in their tour of Japan, virtually putting the 24-year-old on the transfer list in the process.

The Ligue 1 champions believe that Mbappe, who is out of contract next summer, has agreed terms with Real Madrid over a transfer in 12 months and are trying to sell him in order to avoid losing him for nothing.

REVEALED: Mbappe's best transfer options

FootballTransfers previously indicated that Arsenal will study the prospect of moving for Mbappe, but there is also interest elsewhere in the Premier League, with RMC reporting that Chelsea are ready to make a move.

According to the French source, Chelsea are studying the feasibility of the deal and have not yet made an offer for Mbappe, who remains favourite to move to Real Madrid.

Al-Hilal to make MASSIVE Mbappe transfer bid

Reports of an offer for Mbappe coming from the Saudi Pro League have been backed up by RMC, with Al-Hilal reportedly formulating a contract for the France international star that will run two years and will pay €200m per season.

Al-Hilal had previously chased Lionel Messi this summer only for the World Cup winner to plump for Inter Miami instead.

While the Saudi Pro League club are not ready to offer Mbappe the same wages as Messi, this is understandable given that a transfer fee would be required to take the striker away from PSG.

It is reported that they are willing to pay out the last year of Mbappe’s PSG contract to the tune of €200m – and RMC reports that the French club are ready to accept that offer if the player has not extended his contract by 31 July.

Mbappe could still turn down any offer from the Saudi Pro League, meaning that Real Madrid remain well placed to land the player next summer as they have planned.
