High-profile agent Rafaela Pimenta is working on forcing through Arne Slot's Premier League move.

The sought-after Dutch coach wants the vacant Tottenham job, but his current club Feyenoord are not prepared to let their star manager go without a fight.

Slot's team pipped PSV and Ajax to the Eredivisie championship this season, the first such title for Feyenoord since 2017. The 44-year-old is, however, now keen on a new challenge. In order to get his wish, he has employed superstar agent Rafaela Pimenta to force through a move.

Pimenta inherited Mino Raiola's client list after his death last year, boasting names such as Erling Haaland and Paul Pogba. According to Dutch reports, the agent has already assented to a deal that would see Slot move to Spurs.

Feyenoord's ultimatum

Slot is still under contract and his €6 million release clause only comes into effect next season, meaning that the North London club will have to pay a sizeable sum to get their man, and this is causing a delay. The two clubs are still reportedly negotiating over the fee, with Feyenoord wanting at least €10m for their coach.

It is still unclear whether Daniel Levy is prepared to part with such a sum. Moreover, having initially reproached Spurs' advances, Feyenoord would still prefer to keep Slot. As such, they have given him an ultimatum because they are fed up with the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his future and Pimenta offering him to other clubs.
