Liverpool may have to look beyond Jude Bellingham as they plot a summer rebuild under Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool lost Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich at the start of the season, and Roberto Firmino is expected to follow his former teammate out of Anfield on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.

It is a changing of the guard for Liverpool, and this season has already been one of transition, with the Reds now making a late push for Europe having got off to their worst Premier League start under Klopp earlier in the campaign

Bellingham was their top transfer target for a long time, and the player himself is reportedly still interested in playing for Liverpool. Who else might they sign this summer?

Khephren Thuram

Alexis Mac Allister's transfer from Brighton to Liverpool has already been secured, but with Jude Bellingham joining Real Madrid for an initial €103 million, Jurgen Klopp wants to further bolster his midfield, and Khephren Thuram is top of his list.

The son of France's record cap-holder Lilian Thuram and younger brother of France striker Marcus, who is out of contract with Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of June, Khephren has attracted interest from throughout the Premier League after impressing with Nice and, latterly, France.

Mason Mount

Mason Mount is also of interest to Manchester United, but with Chelsea threatening to price the Red Devils out of a move, Liverpool could come back into the running. The England man is out of contract with Chelsea in the summer of 2024 and thus far has refused to agree terms on a new deal.

Ryan Gravenberch

Another Bellingham alternative, and perhaps more like-for-like than Mount, Ryan Gravenberch was considered one of the brightest young midfielders in world football at Ajax, but has spent the last season festering on the bench at Bayern Munich.

The German champions insist they are planning with the Dutchman, but he might have other ideas. "Training and playing at the top level for a year is beautiful and instructive," he said. "Although it is mainly training. That has to change next season - then I really want to play weekly again."

Goncalo Inacio

Liverpool are also in the market for a new centre-back, with speculation increasing that Joel Matip could be playing his final season for the club, and Sporting CP youngster Goncalo Inacio ticks a few boxes.

Ibrahima Konate will need a central defensive partner for a generation with Virgil van Dijk 32 next summer, and Inacio's ball-playing style would complement the Frenchman's physical one. Valued at €30.5m by FootballTransfers.

Bart Verbruggen

While Alisson is secure in his position as the club's No.1, his understudy Caoimhin Kelleher is reportedly fed up with his lack of playing time and nearing a summer transfer to Aston Villa, with their own first-choice, Emi Martinez, in high demand.

The Reds have sent scouts to watch the Anderlecht goalkeeper - who has kept eight clean sheets in the Jupiler Pro League this season and won his first call-up to the Netherlands national team in March.
