There are ten loan proposals for Manchester United attacker Anthony Elanga.

The Swedish winger has been marginalised from the side by the breakthrough of Alejandro Garnacho.

The 20-year-old has failed to make an impact this season and has only played a handful of games under Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman may make the decision on the youngster’s future and he could now depart the club for the remainder of the season - or more.

Indeed, Romano has made the claim there are ten proposals on the table for the winger, who’s clearly not short of interest around Europe.

The transfer guru wrote on Twitter: “Manchester United have received 10 (!) proposals to sign Anthony Elanga on loan — PSV Eindhoven are pushing after Borussia Dortmund request.

“No green light from Manchester Utd as of now, decision to be made in final 24/48h.”

Elanga has started only one game since the World Cup, playing as a backup in attack for Man Utd. As well as this, the youngster has not scored for the Red Devils since last February.

PSV and Dortmund are both thought to be in contention for the player - with a view to playing regularly and developing.

Erik ten Hag on possible departures

Asked about potential loan moves for Elanga and Victor Lindelof, who has been also linked with a move away from Old Trafford, Ten Hag said on Friday: "We have our ideas, for some players we are open for loans but with some players, they are not.

"They have to develop first in our environment, second, we have many games to cover, and we need players to cover that.

“When you play 10 games in 30 days you need a lot of players. The way we put on [Pellestri] on Wednesday is already a signal.”
