United have already made it known they are interested in signing Pulisic in January on a loan move.

Manager Erik ten Hag has demanded more attacking options in January following the release of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo saw his contract rescinded by Man Utd this week, leaving at least one hole in attack.

Pulisic to replace Ronaldo?

Man Utd are said to admire Pulisic for his versatility in attack, while Ten Hag believes he suits his style of play given his pace and pressing ability.

The American winger has seen his status in the Chelsea first-team diminish in recent months, and is completely out of favour.

Pulisic had rarely started in Thomas Tuchel’s final months at the club, and after the German was sacked, there was a belief that he would see more time on the pitch, but that hasn’t been the case.

He has started just three Premier League games this season and completed 90 minutes in just one game all campaign – in the Carabao Cup.

Pulisic is currently playing in the World Cup, where the United States drew their opening matches against Wales and England.

The attacker got the assist for USA’s goal by Tim Weah in the 1-1 draw with Wales.
