Time is running out in the 2022 summer transfer window, and that means the volume of deals is likely to step up over the final few days.

Hundreds of millions of euros are expected to fly around the market in the closing hours.

Here are five of the biggest transfers that are set to be making the news on Monday.

Antony to Man Utd

At last! After months of chasing the Brazil international, Man Utd finally appear to have struck a deal for the Ajax forward worth around €100 million. It will make him one of the most expensive players in history and will see him join an elite band of those who have moved for a nine-figure sum.

There are, however, doubts over just how much value for money United will get, particularly with Ajax boss Alfred Schreuder even branding the price “absurd”.

Sergio Reguilon to Atletico Madrid

Former Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon is heading back to the Spanish capital, with the 25-year-old poised to leave Tottenham on loan to join Diego Simeone’s side for the course of the season.

Renan Lodi to Nottingham Forest

Connected to the Reguilon deal is the future of Renan Lodi, who FootballTransfers exclusively revealed last week was still of interest to Nottingham Forest. It appears that the Premier League new boys will complete the capture of the left wing-back in what would be another major summer coup for them. Look for this transfer to be completed around the same time as Reguilon.

Calum Hudon-Odoi to Bayer Leverkusen

Callum Hudson-Odoi is one of the few Chelsea academy products who has never joined the ranks of their famous loan army... until now. Having exploded at an early age at Stamford Bridge, the 21-year-old quickly found his way into the first team but has since faded. Out of favour with Thomas Tuchel, he is set to get a year in the Bundesliga to prove his mettle.

Sasa Kalajdzic to Wolves

Everyone from Manchester United to Bayern Munich has been linked with a move for Stuttgart forward Sasa Kalajdzic, but it appears that it is Wolves who are closest to signing the 25-year-old hitman. Kaladjzic did not play for his club at the weekend and is set to complete a deal worth €25 million, with a verbal agreement already in place.
