Jude Bellingham is wanted by Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool

Manchester United finally secured one young England star from Borussia Dortmund in Jadon Sancho during the summer.

Sancho joined the club after the Red Devils had been chasing him over several transfer windows.

As of yet, he's yet to show the kind of form he produced in Germany that convinced Man Utd to part with €85 million (£73m) for his services.

And now they hope to secure another great Englishman who is setting the Bundesliga alight this season.

Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham chose Dortmund over Man Utd last year when he moved from Birmingham in a £25m deal.

And this season, he has contributed two goals and three assists as BVB sit second in the Bundesliga.

Bellingham will no doubt return to play his football in England one day and his form this term has alerted a host of tops clubs.

Rio Ferdinand has his say on Bellingham

Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea are all tracking his progress and former United captain Rio Ferdinand believes Bellingham could play anywhere in the United midfield.

When asked on the FIVE YouTube Channel what role the 18-year old could play at Old Trafford, Ferdinand said: "Any. He’s that good.

"Serious. In the England youth teams, there are times when he’s played as the holding midfielder.

"[There have been] times he’s played as the No.8 and been box-to-box. And also times when he’s been told he can join the attacks more.

When you are one of the super clubs, there are talents out there that make you think if we have the capacity and financial muscle, then he’s one you don’t want to miss
- Rio Ferdinand

"He has the capabilities and capacity to play all of the roles, he’s that good.

"I think for him, I see him as being someone who can do it all. There aren’t many midfielders in the game now that can attack and defend – affect the game at both ends.

Will Bellingham move to Man Utd in January?

Man Utd face a tricky Premier League match at Watford followed by away trips at Villareal and Chelsea.

It's getting to the point where any defeat in these fixtures could spell the end to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's time as United manager.

Bruno Fernandes set to double his money but Man Utd reject one demand

Bellingham would bring undoubted quality to any midfield and it could be a nice fit with Bruno Fernandes with the younger man playing the furthest midfielder forward.

But Dortmund are unlikely to sell in January - and the summer 2022 transfer window could be the time Bellingham considers a move.

By that time there could be much change in players and coaching staff, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's future in doubt and Paul Pogba linked with a departure.
