FIFA 22 was released in October which means players have had time to get to grips with the new edition of Ultimate Team and Career Mode.

Within Career Mode in FIFA 22, one of the most fun aspects of it is to identify and target young players who perhaps have a lower initial rating but who could potentially turn into superstars.

If these potential stars are developed correctly, a user can eventually have a dream team without having spent much money as younger players naturally don't cost as much as established stars.

The players towards the top of our list are certainly well known, as Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho, Ansu Fati and Vinicius Junior are all already prominent players for their respective clubs.

However, as these players will only get better throughout Career Mode, it is worth it trying to sign them as early as possible as their transfer value will only increase with age.

All are under 21 at the start of the game, so a user can have them for at least a decade in Career Mode should they wish.

Haaland, in particular, is certainly worth any money spent as he already has a fabulous rating of 88 which could potentially increase to 94.

The player who is perhaps the least well known but who also has a fantastic potential rating is PSV winger Noni Madueke, who could progress to 88.

If the likes of Haaland are too expensive for your new centre-forward, then further down the list we have Giacomo Raspadori of Sassuolo, Adam Hlozek of Sparta Prague and Moise Kean of Juventus, who all progress to 87.

Outside of Europe, Pedro De la Vega presents an excellent option at right winger.

With Lanus, he starts on a 73, but can develop into an 86-rated forward.
