Which teams have earned the most from sales this summer?
Bayer Leverkusen have earned the most money from sales of any club during the 2025 summer transfer window so far.
The Bundesliga giants have earned a whopping €205.5 million through player sales so far this summer, while they have also lost head coach Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid.
Florian Wirtz is the biggest player to have left Leverkusen this summer, courtesy of his €125m transfer to Liverpool, and they have also sold Jeremie Frimpong to Liverpool, Odilon Kossounou to Atalanta, Gustavo Puerta to Hull City, Jonathan Tah to Bayern Munich and Granit Xhaka to Sunderland.
Free-spending Chelsea are actually second on the list, having raked in a fortune from the sales of Noni Madueke to Arsenal for €60m and Joao Felix to Al-Nassr for €30m, with the latter deal capable of rising up to €50m. All told, Chelsea have raised €151.6m from sales.
Liverpool are in a not-too-dissimilar position to Chelsea. The Reds have spent more than €300m on incomings, so it is easy to overlook that they sit third in terms of sales with an income of €133.3m
Luis Diaz has joined Bayern Munich for €70m, Jarrel Quansah has moved to Leverkusen for €35m, Caoimhin Kelleher has fetched €14.8m and even out-of-contract Trent Alexander-Arnold yielded €10m as Real Madrid paid to have him available at the Club World Cup.
Bournemouth are fourth on the list, having earned a combined €123.96m through the sales of Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid, Milos Kerkez to Liverpool, Jaidon Anthony to Burnley, Mark Travers to Everton and Joe Rothwell to Rangers.
Fellow South Coast side Brighton are fifth, courtesy of six sales to the tune of €118.7m. Evan Ferguson's loan to Roma has produced an additional €3m.
Next up are Wolverhampton Wanderers. Vitor Pereira’s side have sold Matheus Cunha to Manchester United and Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester City for a combined price of €111m.
Nottingham Forest are the final Premier League club on this list. The Reds have secured €110.87m, the majority of which came from Newcastle as they paid €61.4m for Anthony Elanga.
AC Milan clock in at number eight with €108.8m. Tijjani Reijnders and Theo Hernandez have yielded the largest fees thanks to their moves to Man City and Al-Hilal, respectively.
Sporting CP have skyrocketed up this list due to the sale of Viktor Gyokeres to Arsenal for an upfront fee of around €65.8m. They have earned €104.57m from sales.
Atalanta complete the top 10 thanks in no small part to Mateo Retegui, who has become the most expensive Italian ever by joining Al-Qadsiah for €68.25m.
