The Premier League is the home of some of the world’s biggest names, but many of them could change clubs this summer.

With the transfer window nearing, many elite footballers have been linked to clubs away from their own, both in and out of the Premier League.

As with any transfer rumours, we must take them with a grain of salt. But all stories tend to come from somewhere, with one side hoping to secure a huge deal for their client, or a player looking to finally get a taste of European football.

Below, FootballTransfers lists 10 Premier League stars who could make an exit from their current clubs during the summer transfer window.

Bruno Guimaraes

It was revealed that the release clause in Bruno Guimaraes’ contract at Newcastle is only valid from the final week of May to the final week of June. This means that beyond that point, the Magpies will have control on the situation and the final say over whether they accept bids or not.

The Brazil international is not short on suitors, however, with Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain all linked to the 26-year-old. Eddie Howe wants to keep him, but a summer exit is possible.

Luis Diaz

Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are both looking for a new left-winger and reports have suggested that Liverpool’s Luiz Diaz are among their targets.

The attacker, who is valued at around €70m by the Reds, is seen as an ideal fit for both teams and could push to leave Anfield with Jurgen Klopp departing and Arne Slot arriving.

Alexander Isak

Alexander Isak recently went on record to say that he wished to stay at Newcastle, but rumours of a move away still persist. The Sweden international is one of the most in-form players in the Premier League right now, and consequently, Arsenal and Man Utd have been linked to purchasing him.

Newcastle’s issues with FFP are well-documented but even still, it will take a hefty fee to prise the 24-year-old away from St James’ Park.

Ivan Toney

Ivan Toney was one of the hottest names before the Christmas period, even though he was still serving a nine-month ban at the time. But since coming back in the fold for Brentford in January, those reports have disappeared.

It was thought that Chelsea and Arsenal were gunning for the forward’s signature, but those links have cooled. However, it’s still apparent that he wishes to move on from the Bees in the summer, but it will all come down to the price.

Jarrad Branthwaite

Jarrad Branthwaite is likely to be sold as Everton look to bring in enough money to ensure they don’t get hit with another points deduction. Farhad Moshiri is struggling to attract new investors and the Englishman is their most valuable asset.

FootballTransfers exclusively revealed that Man Utd were keen on Branthwaite - but Newcastle and Manchester City are fans of the youngster, too.

Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling endured a fairly poor 2023-24 season and Chelsea are likely to be open to offers, especially given the club’s philosophy of keeping the squad’s age down.

The former Man City winger has not been linked to any club in the Premier League yet, but several Saudi Pro League sides have expressed their interest, meaning a move could happen if Chelsea want to sell the ex-England international.

Aaron Ramsdale

Aaron Ramsdale has played second fiddle to David Raya for the entire campaign and he is likely to seek an Arsenal exit this summer as a result.

Newcastle United are heavily interested in pursuing a move and reports suggest the Magpies are hoping to complete a deal during the upcoming window.

Kalvin Phillips

Kalvin Phillips' move to Man City has been a disastrous one and his 2023-24 season couldn't have gone much worse.

After barely featuring during the first-half of the campaign, Phillips was loaned to West Ham United with the idea of rediscovering his form before Euro 2024. However, his time in London was horrific as Phillips mustered just three Premier League starts.

A permanent Man City is certainly on the cards for the 'Yorkshire Pirlo.'

Conor Gallagher

Conor Gallagher was the only Chelsea player to rack up 50 appearances during the 2023-24 season, yet he is arguably the most likely player to be sold this summer.

The Blues' owners want to maximise their pure profit and see Gallagher as a sellable asset amid interest from Tottenham.

Mauricio Pochettino wants the England international to remain at Stamford Bridge, but he may not prevent an exit.

Rayan Ait-Nouri

Every top club in England is interested in Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri following his flying form this season.

The Algerian is being monitored by Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool - as reported by FootballTransfers - and while Wolves want to keep him, they may be forced to sell.
