Transfer News LIVE - Every rumour, every done deal: Man Utd HIJACK Arsenal's Sesko deal?
The big spenders will be out in force again this summer, with Real Madrid looking to back new boss Xabi Alonso, Chelsea keen to improve again after securing Champions League qualification, and Manchester United desperate to reclaim some kind of success after a disastrous season that saw them finish just three places above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have signed Matheus Cunha, with Man City also flexing their financial power to sign Tijani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli and Rayan Cherki.
Some big deals happened earlier than usual due to the Club World Cup and the deadline for participation in that tournament is now over, though the window remains open.
The biggest deal so far this summer saw Florian Wirtz complete a blockbuster transfer to Liverpool from Leverkusen.
Some questions that will hang over the transfer window this season:
- Will Viktor Gyokeres leave Sporting CP?
- Who will sign Victor Osimhen?
- How much can Barcelona spend?
- Will top players want to join Man Utd?
- Will Arsenal sign a world-class striker?

Leao to stay at Milan?
Massimiliano Allegri has suggested Rafael Leao won't be sold this summer.
Due to Milan's falure to qualify for Europe, there were suggestions that the Portugal international could be sold, with Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Arsenal among his admirers.
Here's what Allegri had to say in his first press conference since being reappointed boss:
“Rafa can do excellent things next season. I’m sure I can bring out that extra something he’s been missing. He’s reaching the age where a player performs at his peak”.
Barcelona's left wing shortlist
Barcelona are desperate to add a left winger to their ranks this summer.
It seemed like Nico Williams was definitely heading to the Camp Nou, but he ended up signing a lucrative contact extension with Athletic Club.
The two main alternatives to Williams are Marcus Rashford and Luis Diaz.
However, should they prove too expensive, then Barcelona will look to RB Leipzig's Antonio Nusa or Monaco's Eliesse Ben-Seghir. (Albert Fernandez)

Rashford-Man Utd's win-win scenario
Former Man Utd favourite Juan Mata believes Marcus Rashford staying at the club could be a "win-win" scenario.
"I saw his first training (session) with us," the Spaniard told The Athletic. "I love him. As a kid, I called him 'the wonderkid'.
"The way he played was fearless, you could feel he could win a game by himself at any time when he was playing at his best. As a Man United fan and as a friend of Marcus, I wish that he can succeed here because it's his club, his boyhood club.
"I don't know what's going to happen but if he stays and he can actually be happy and enjoy, I think it will be a win-win situation for both the club and him."

Osimhen picks his next club
Victor Osimhen has allegedly agreed to join Galatasaray on a permanent basis.
The striker spent last season on loan at the Turkish giants from Napoli, who are keen to sell him this summer. He has been linked with numerous clubs including Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
Osimhen, though, is ready to knock back all of these clubs to make his move to Galatasaray permanent, according to Corriere dello Sport.
“Victor is not an ordinary player and not an ordinary boy: he is faithful to his principles, he has his aspirations and ideas to make him reject the oil wealth offered by Al-Hilal in the form of a salary worth €40m per year for three years with the option of a fourth,” a source reports.
“Osimhen intends to continue playing with Galatasaray.”
