Kylian Mbappe put on a show as PSG breezed past Real Sociedad in the Champions League.

Despite the fact that the French giants headed into their round of 16 second leg with Real Sociedad with a 1-0 goal advantage, there were some major question marks ahead of the game.

Head coach Luis Enrique had controversially substituted Real Madrid-bound Kylian Mbappe in the past two Ligue 1 games, insisting that the Parisians would have to get used to playing without the megastar. It was unclear whether the 25-year-old would start against Erreala.

Ultimately, he did start, and Real Sociedad now wish he hadn't. The PSG star proved unstoppable as he notched a brilliant brace against a side he will face plenty of times in domestic competitions in the future.

After sending the Basques' centre-back Igor Zubeldia for a hot dog before blasting the ball into the net so hard that it actually broke, Mbappe finished off the tie with an irresistible run behind the defence, culminating with his trademark near-post finish.

Mbappe's Galactico-esque performance, which took his goal tally for the season to 34 in 34 games, left Real Madrid fans licking their lips and rival fans speechless...
