Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Real Madrid do not plan on adding any January reinforcements despite their current injury crisis.

Los Blancos are facing a tough situation as several of their stars are currently sidelined. Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao are nursing ACL injuries, while summer recruit Arda Guler is yet to make his debut for Carlo Ancelotti's side after sustaining an injury in pre-season and then suffering a major setback on his return to training.

Newly-crowned Golden Boy Jude Bellingham is currently recovering from a shoulder injury that saw him sent back to Spain from England duty and now two more stars have suffered major fitness issues. Eduardo Camavinga went down in France training with a knee injury and Vinicius Jr suffered a knock in the Brazil camp.

Given that Real's squad is quite thin in some areas, rumours around potential January reinforcements have abounded in recent weeks. Ancelotti, however, recently asserted that there isn't anything to these reports and this has now been echoed by Fabrizio Romano.

What did Romano say?

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the transfer expert said: "Camavinga will be out until the end of 2023, so more than one month for Camavinga. The hope is [for him] to be available in January for the Supercup against Atletico Madrid. This is going to be the mission for Real Madrid's staff."

"They're waiting for the test, they're waiting for a final decision to understand how the condition of Vinicius is, but also in this case there is the possibility to see Vinicius out for some time...The idea at Real Madrid, at the moment, at the current stage of the situation is not to do anything in the January transfer window."

"Despite the new problem of Camavinga, Vinicius Jr and the other players, the idea of Real Madrid is still the same: staying with the same team until the end of the season and then do something in the summer. Endrick is going to join in the summer, full-backs are also on the list and we know that for Real Madrid it's going to be an important summer."
