Real Madrid are starting their transfer business early again this summer, with the Bernabeu club having already tied down two new players, according to reports in Spain. Meanwhile, three players are destined to depart.

Los Blancos may be in the semi-finals of the Champions League, in which they will face Manchester City, but they are out of the running domestically, with a 2-0 loss to Real Sociedad on Tuesday leaving Barcelona on the verge of LaLiga glory. Indeed, Carlo Ancelotti’s side face a battle simply to finish third, with Atletico Madrid hot on their heels.

Changes are destined for the summer, with Ancelotti’s position among those that are uncertain.

Madrid appear to be eager to get their business done quickly, though, just as they were in 2022, when they settled upon the signing of Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco before staying quiet for the rest of the window.

According to AS, though, they will be busier this summer. Los Blancos are targeting four arrivals and they have already tied down two of these according to the newspaper.

Brahim Diaz is one of the pair destined to arrive at the Bernabeu, although the 23-year-old isn’t a new signing in the sense of the word given that he is presently on the books of the club. He has, however, been at Milan on loan since 2020.

Similarly, Real Madrid are set to re-sign Fran Garcia, a left-back who departed the club for Rayo Vallecano in 2020 before completing that transfer on a permanent basis.

On top of this pair, Real Madrid have made Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham their major transfer target, while Gabri Veiga, Harry Kane, Dusan Vlahovic and Reece James are also wanted.

Three guarantees to leave Real Madrid this summer

Relevo reports that Eden Hazard, Alvaro Odriozola and Ferland Mendy “can already be considered out of the club”.

The case of Hazard is particularly chastening for Real Madrid, with the Belgium international not even given a minute of the midweek loss against Sociedad, despite Los Blancos crying out for offensive impact.
