Lamine Yamal has been tipped as the next great Barcelona star to emerge from La Masia after the 15-year-old was called up to first-team training in September 2022.
Barcelona may have spent lavishly in the summer transfer window, but Xavi’s attention was still caught by the youngster, who has been branded as the ‘next Ansu Fati’ by the Spanish media.

He is said to have similar qualities to Ansu Fati, hence the comparisons. Yamal is described as being a “forward with a lot of self-confidence... and a natural nose for goal as his main attribute”.
