Euro 2020 may have concluded under one month ago, but club football is back as supporters anticipate another exciting season.
Most of the major clubs in Europe are just putting the finishing touches to their pre-season campaigns.

But some leagues are already under way for 2021/22, with others now on the brink of starting.
After the Community Shield was played on Saturday, the Premier League will begin on Friday August 13 when Brentford face Arsenal.
But what about the rest of Europe’s big five domestic leagues?
When does 2021/22 La Liga season start?
Like the Premier League, the 2021/22 season in La Liga will begin on Friday August 13.
Valencia will take on Getafe to open the Spanish campaign, before the rest of the 18 teams in the top flight play over the following three days.
Real Madrid start on Saturday 14 with an away match against Deportivo Alaves.
Atletico Madrid are away to Celta Vigo on Sunday 15, the same day as Barcelona take on Real Sociedad at Camp Nou.
Villarreal are among four teams starting on Monday 16.
Atletico are defending champions after claiming their first title in seven years last season.
When does 2021/22 Serie A season start?
Serie A begins a week later than the action in England and Spain, with four matches kicking things off on Saturday August 21.
Defending champions Inter are among the teams playing in that opening slate, as they host Genoa.
Juventus begin 2021/22 on Sunday 22 when they travel to play Udinese, while Milan are also on the road to start their campaign against Sampdoria on Monday 23.
Juve had won Serie A nine straight times before Antonio Conte and Inter triumphed in 2020/21.
When does 2021/22 Bundesliga season start?
The German domestic season has already started with games in the DFB-Pokal, Borussia Dortmund winning their match against Wehen Wiesbaden 3-0 on Saturday thanks to an Erling Haaland hat-trick.
As for the Bundesliga, Friday August 13 is the big kick-off as champions Bayern Munich face at testing trip to play Borussia Monchengladach.
Dortmund are among the teams to start on Saturday 14 as they host Eintracht Frankfurt.
Bayern will be looking to make it 10 straight league titles in 2021/22.
When does 2021/22 Ligue 1 season start?
The season is already well under way in France.
Lille beat Paris Saint-Germain in the Trophee des Champions on August 1, while Ligue 1 has also started this week, the first of the big five leagues to get going.
France’s top flight began on Friday August 6 as Monaco drew 1-1 with Nantes.
PSG then began their campaign with a battling 2-1 win at Troyes on Saturday 7.
The pressure is on PSG to come out on top this season after Lille’s shock success last year and the potential arrival of Lionel Messi is the huge talking point in French football.
