PSG want Marcus Rashford from Man Utd

Paris Saint-Germain have opened talks with Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford according to reports in France.
Rashford only has one year left on his current deal at Old Trafford, and the player is understood to be open to a new challenge after spending the last 17 years on Man Utd's books.
PSG, for their part, are attracted to Rashford's profile: a player in his prime who can operate wide left are as a central striker.

Speaking ahead of the French champions' meeting with Montpellier on Saturday, coach Christophe Galtier answered in the affirmative when asked about reported interest in Rashford.
"The club is working hard on this position," he said at the pre-match press conference. "I'm in direct contact with [sporting director] Luis Ocampos, and Luis is in direct contact with our president [Nasser al-Khelaifi]. Don't be mistaken. Some things are possible and some things aren't."
Rashford's PSG history
A long-time England international yet still only 24, Rashford further came to PSG's attention in October 2020 when he scored United's winning goal against them in the Champions League group stage - a victory widely credited with securing Ole Solskjaer's position as manager.
PSG have arguably the biggest embarrassment of riches in the final third of any team in world football, with Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar their first-choice front three.

But there is tension at the Parc des Princes following Mbappe's bumper new contract, signed this summer to ward of Real Madrid. He and Messi disagree on Neymar's influence, and al-Khelaifi publicly criticised Neymar before his contract rolled over into 2027.
Messi and Neymar are also both the wrong side of 30 now. With six years on the Brazilian, Rashford would be an ideal long-term replacement, and one who could be picked up on a free transfer next summer.
