We have had over 20 official transfers in the Premier League alone – and plenty more in Europe’s other major leagues.

There are also a number of high-profile transfers that have been done but not yet made official.

Below, we run through some of the deals that are all but done but haven’t been officially rubber-stamped yet.

Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid

Rudiger’s contract Chelsea expires at the end of next month and it has already been announced by club and player that he will depart as a free agent.

According to multiple reliable sources, the central defender has agreed a free transfer move to Real Madrid.

It is reported that he has signed a four-year contract that will see him earn around €9 million per season.

Franck Kessie to Barcelona

Franck Kessie confirmed his exit from AC Milan this week ahead of his free transfer move to Barcelona.

Kessie’s contract expires at San Siro at the end of next month and he has decided not to sign a new deal.

It has been common knowledge for some time now that Kessie has agreed a deal to join Barcelona on a Bosman Transfer.

The deal hasn’t been made official yet, but Barcelona president Joan Laporta did confirm recently that they have signed a defender (Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen) and a midfielder (Kessie).

Andreas Christensen to Barcelona

Andreas Christensen is one of a number of Chelsea defenders leaving the club this summer.

Like with Rudiger, Chelsea have confirmed that the Denmark international is leaving on a free transfer when his contract expires.

It is unanimously reported that Christensen has already passed his Barcelona medical and agreed a five-year deal worth up to €6.5m per season.

Barcelona fought off interest from fellow European heavyweights Bayern Munich to land the defender.

Andre Onana to Inter

Ajax announced way back in September 2021 that goalkeeper Andre Onana would be leaving the club on a free transfer when his contract expired at the end of the season.

Inter have had a deal to sign him since then and the Cameroonian passed a medical in Milan at the start of 2022.

He was in Milan earlier this week to play a charity game at San Siro and it is reported that the deal will be officially announced in the coming days. He has agreed a four-year contract with Inter.

Ryan Gravenberch to Bayern Munich

Ryan Gravenberch will become the second Ajax player this summer to join Bayern Munich.

The German champions already signed Morocco right-back Noussair Mazraoui on a free transfer earlier this week.

They have now agreed a deal for wonderkid midfielder Gravenberch for a fee believed to be €25m plus add-ons.

Divock Origi and Sven Botman to Milan

AC Milan are expected to announce the signings of Divock Origi from Liverpool and Sven Botman from Lille in the coming weeks.

Origi is leaving Liverpool on a free transfer as his contract expires next month. He is expected in Milan next week for a medical.

As for Botman, Milan agreed a deal with Lille months ago and talks with centre back Botman are reported to be at a stage where the transfer should be a formality.
