Eager players will have a head start in forming their FUT teams with the release of the official FUT Web App on Wednesday September 22.

After opening the first round of packs provided based on participation and success in FIFA 21, players can get to trading and finding the best ways to make as many coins as quickly as they can ahead of the first games upon release.

What is FIFA Ultimate Team?

Ultimate Team is the most popular mode on FIFA year on year, with millions of players worldwide challenging themselves against other players and trading items and coins.

FUT allows players to build a team of their choice and entirely with their creative freedom, although there is chemistry element to the game that is important to consider.

Chemistry can affect performance of players in-game. Players that play for the same club or that are from the same nation and play in the same league will have green links, while orange links are for international teammates in different leagues or players in the same league, but with different clubs and different nations.

Players that have nothing in common will have a red link, and these links contribute to a player's chemistry, which has a maximum number of 10.

The online transfer market enables players to buy and sell players to other people on the game, while the FUT store allows players to open packs in the hope of acquiring better players.

How do you earn FIFA Ultimate Team coins?

FIFA Ultimate Team coins are earned by selling players and other consumable items, either by method of placing them on the transfer market or by quick-selling items.

The transfer market allows a player to list an item for any price, so long as it fits between a minimum and maximum price range for that particular item.

The Buy It Now (BIN) price allows a buyer to purchase an item immediately, while there is also a bidding process that can be done to purchase items.

Players can also earn coins by quick-selling, or discarding, items. This is a fixed amount of coins depending on the item, and can be significantly less than the market value of an item, particularly in the case of highly-rated players.

What are the best tips for earning coins?

An easy and very common way to make coins in FUT is by using the tried and trusted bronze pack method.

Bronze packs cost 400 coins and usually contain three or four players, which will sell for a minimum of 150 coins, creating an easy way to make coins at a steady pace.

Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) have been a big part of FUT and are another great way to make coins early on in the game.

Different levels of challenges enable players to exchange players for rewards, some of which return the player an amount of FUT coins or a collection of packs.

SBC’s are often themed and require players from certain leagues, nationalities and clubs, and depending on the active SBCs at any one time, players that are relevant to any live challenge can see a rise in price.

A great way to make coins is to be across the live SBCs to know when players might be selling for above their normal value, as well as completing challenges and using the rewards to make coins.

Players can also take advantage of the transfer market in a method known as 'sniping', which is to snap up players on the market that are being sold below their normal value before selling them for a profit at the proper price.

Playing games remains the best way to earn coins though, as more games and more wins leads to more - and better - rewards in the game.
