Despite ongoig transfertalk, the probability of Auston Trusty transferring to Celtic appears very low, with only 39% change of the deal goung trough. Here is why.
Comparable age to previously attracted players
Comparable potential to previously attracted players
Few direct competitors for position (Gustaf Lagerbielke, Cameron Carter-Vickers )
Missing star player in position on team
Few better competitors for position (Tomoki Iwata, Alistair Johnston (Defender, CAN))
Not many competitors with higher Potential (Gustaf Lagerbielke, Tomoki Iwata)
Comparable value to previously attracted players
Comparable quality to previously attracted players
Potential star player in position on team (Gustaf Lagerbielke, Cameron Carter-Vickers )
UPDATE: Sheffield United have agreed a fee of around £2.5m for Celtic winger Mikey Johnston. It’s anticipated that this agreement could smooth things over in Celtic’s pursuit of Blades centre-back Auston Trusty. (w/@SkySports_Tim) #SUFC #CelticFC
