Bayern Munich rival Man Utd as Chelsea set Nkunku transfer fee
Bayern Munich are still interested in signing Christopher Nkunku this summer, according to Nicolo Schira.
The Bavarians are long-term admirers of the France star, and Schira says they are still considering making a move for the attacker.
Bayern join Man Utd in the race for the transfer listed Chelsea man but he will not come cheap.
John Cross reports in the Daily Mirror that Chelsea have told all interested parties they will have to pay €41 million in order to sign Nkunku.
Bayern are looking for replacements for Jamal Musiala, who suffered a serious injury in the Club World Cup that will rule him out for the rest of the year.
Man Utd are fans of the Chelsea man, too, with manager Ruben Amorim seeing Nkunku as a perfect fit tactically for one of the two roles behind the the frontman.
Nkunku is on United's shortlist this summer and they have held talks with Chelsea without yet making a concrete move.
Nkunku to leave Chelsea
Nkunku has been put up for sale by Chelsea this summer after a second disappointing and injury-hit season at Stamford Bridge.
The player himself is also desperate to leave in order to join a club where he can be an important first-team player.

Nkunku has had a difficult time at Chelsea since his €62 million move from Leipzig in the summer of 2023.
Injury issues limited him to just 14 appearances during his debut campaign (only two starts).
In the 2024-25 season, he made just nine starts in the Premier League and is considered very much a rotation player at best by manager Enzo Maresca.
Despite that, Nkunku still managed a highly respectable 15 goals in all competitions, although most of these have come in the minor cups such as the Conference League and now the Club World Cup.
