Arsenal consider Osimhen transfer

Arsenal have enquired about Victor Osimhen’s availability this summer after holding transfer talks with Galatasaray for Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.

Galatasaray are said to have submitted an offer of around €40 million for Martinelli, with FootballTransfers exclusively learning the conditions of a sale, while the Turkish side have also indicated an interest in talks with Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta.

According to The Telegraph, those talks have also included the prospect of Osimhen moving to Arsenal, although it is unclear whether that was proposed by Berta or whether Galatasaray offered the Gunners the chance of a deal.

Arsenal have held a long-standing interest in Osimhen and are looking for a forward in his profile, although his fee could prove excessive amid reports this week claiming that Galatasaray rejected a verbal offer from Al-Hilal for €130m for the striker.

Chelsea agree Badiashile exit

Napoli are set to complete the signing of Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile on loan with an option to buy.

Badiashile has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea have been keen to sell the defender this summer but they have instead sanctioned a loan deal to get his wages off to books.

According to L’Equipe, the deal is believed to include a €3m loan fee, €1m bonuses and a €27m option to buy.

However, Badiashile has not agreed terms with Napoli as of yet and talks will continue on Friday.

Barcelona submit new Rodri bid to Man City

Barcelona have submitted an offer of €60m plus €10m in add-ons to Manchester City for Rodri in the hopes that they can finally agree a deal for the midfielder.

Rodri has been in talks with Barca ever since his move to Real Madrid collapsed last week but the Catalans have so far seen bids of around €50m rejected by City.

Candena SER report that a total package of €70m will now be considered by City, who had been holding out for a similar fee but without add-ons.

City have also agreed to sell midfielder Tijjani Reijnders to Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah for around €61m as they look to revamp their midfield.

Arsenal re-enter Konsa talks

Arsenal are back in talks with Aston Villa over a potential deal for Ezri Konsa, according to Ben Jacobs.

Konsa has emerged as a top defensive target for the Gunners due to his versatility in playing across the backline, as well as his experience in the Premier League and at international level.

Arsenal’s initial proposal was said to be in excess of €30m and was immediately dismissed by Villa but Jacobs now reports that a new approach could be likely.

However, Villa would demand around €70m to part ways with their star defender, with Unai Emery’s side keen to keep hold of Konsa.
