Chelsea have maintained contact with Adam Wharton’s representatives as they explore a possible summer move for the Crystal Palace midfielder.

That is according to CaughtOffside, who report that Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have all cooled their interest in Wharton, with Chelsea now one of the only suitors left in the race to sign him.

However, it’s reported that while Chelsea remain attentive to the situation, it’s likely that Wharton may still be a Crystal Palace player when the summer transfer window ends on 1 September.

Alejandro Garnacho latest

Alejandro Garnacho is not training with the Chelsea first-team after being transfer-listed by the club, according to the Daily Mail.

The Argentina winger endured a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge following his move from Man Utd last summer, and both parties have agreed to explore a sale before the start of next season.

Garnacho has not yet returned to Chelsea for pre-season and it’s reported that he doesn’t feature in Xabi Alonso’s plans, with a transfer expected to be agreed amid rumoured interest from several Champions League clubs.

Crysencio Summerville interest

Chelsea are weighing up whether to make a move for West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville, according to reports in Italy.

Morgan Rogers is understood to be their top attacking target for this summer, but Arsenal are currently leading the race to sign him and Italian publication Il Resto del Carlino now claim Chelsea are running the rule over Summerville as a cheaper alternative.

The Dutchman is expected to leave West Ham following their relegation to the Championship, and Man Utd have also been heavily linked with a move.

Liam Delap decision

Liam Delap is determined to make it at Chelsea and isn’t interested in leaving the club this summer, as per Simon Phillips.

The striker scored just one Premier League goal during his debut season at Stamford Bridge and widespread rumours have confirmed that Chelsea will look to sell either Nicolas Jackson or Delap this summer.

However, Delap wants to fight for his place under Alonso and has expressed his desire to remain at the club next season.
