Arsenal want Konsa

Arsenal have registered a ‘tentative interest’ in Ezri Konsa, the Aston Villa teammate of their top target Morgan Rogers.

Villa value Rogers at more than €150 million and do not want to sell their star man but they could now face interest in Konsa from Arsenal, according to The Telegraph.

It is claimed that Mikel Arteta is the driving force behind Arsenal’s interest as he seeks an upgrade on Ben White, with Konsa also able to play right-back as well as centre-back.

Konsa has two years remaining on his contract and Villa are thought to value him at £60m (€70m), which is more than the Gunners would like to pay, although the 28-year-old’s sale may be considered in order to raise funds and keep hold of Rogers instead.

Arsenal make fresh Scott enquiry

Arsenal have made a new enquiry for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, TEAMtalk claims.

The 22-year-old is a key target for Arsenal and Man Utd, especially now that Tottenham are signing Mateus Fernandes, who was also admired by both clubs. Arsenal again made contact with the Cherries to sound out a deal.

However, Bournemouth's stance on Scott remains unchanged. They do not want to sell him this summer, and only a fee well in excess of €80 million could test their resolve.

It has also been claimed that Bournemouth could raise their asking price further in the wake of Elliot Anderson and Fernandes’ big money transfers for more than €100m.

Arsenal open talks over World Cup wonderkid

Arsenal have reportedly spoken to the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina wonderkid Kerim Alajbegovic ahead of a potential summer swoop.

The Gunners are understood to be in the market for a new left winger amid the uncertain future of Gabriel Martinelli, and Bradley Barcola and Morgan Rogers have both been earmarked as top targets by the Emirates Stadium hierarchy.

Alajbegovic joined the Bayer Leverkusen academy back in 2021 and after being sold to RB Salzburg on a permanent deal last summer, he has now returned to the Bundesliga outfit for €8 million but there is already significant transfer interest in his services.

In fact, Arsenal have already spoken to his representatives, according to a report from The Daily Mail, however, despite talks with Alajbegovic’s camp, it remains to be seen if Arsenal will solidify their interest and launch a formal bid for the 18-year-old’s signature.

Gunners pursuing ‘blockbuster’ Yildiz move

Arsenal have ‘advanced in their plans’ to sign Kenan Yildiz this summer, according to reports in Turkiye, with the Gunners said to be ‘pursuing a blockbuster move’ for the Juventus star.

Yildiz has been a long-term target for Arsenal to strengthen at left wing and Turkish-Football claim that contact has now been made over a deal following Turkiye’s exit at the 2026 World Cup.

Arsenal are believed to have made an enquiry to Juventus over a deal but the Italian side have zero desire to part way with their talisman and would ask for ‘well in excess’ of €100m for the 21-year-old.

Yildiz has four years remaining on his contract at Juve and Arsenal are hoping to make him a ‘marquee arrival’, with background work said to have ‘intensified’ over the forward.
