The 20-year-old has only made one senior appearance for his boyhood club, but his performances for Barcelona’s B team have reportedly alerted Arteta to his potential, as per E-Noticies.

Furthermore, it’s reported that Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has given the green light to a transfer, with Rodriguez open to leaving Camp Nou in search of regular first-team opportunities.

Man Utd hijack striker deal

Manchester United are reportedly eager to hijack Arsenal’s proposed deal for Blackburn Rovers striker Igor Tyjon.

The 17-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Mikel Arteta’s side in recent months and he is expected to leave Ewood Park in 2026 after rejecting the chance to sign a professional contract at the Championship club.

While Arsenal are keen to add Tyjon to their ranks amid their pursuit of a new academy striker, Man Utd have now joined the race for his signature and are eager to complete a deal later this year, as per The Sun.

Liverpool prepare Jude Bellingham bid

Liverpool are preparing a €180 million offer for Jude Bellingham as they look to rival Chelsea in the race for the Real Madrid superstar, according to a shock report from Fichajes.

The Reds owners reportedly believe that adding a dominant midfielder will help them consistently challenge for major honours in the coming years and they are keen to finally secure Bellingham’s signature after losing out to Real Madrid during his time at Borussia Dortmund.

However, it’s claimed that Real Madrid will not consider a sale in 2026, with the club unwilling to sanction a departure.

Chelsea given transfer hope

Chelsea have been offered a second chance to sign Marseille wonderkid Robinio Vaz following AS Roma director Ricky Massara's admission that a deal is too difficult to pull off.

It was claimed that Roma were on the verge of sealing a €15m deal, however the transfer now looks set to collapse.

Speaking ahead of Roma's clash with Sassuolo, sporting director Ricky Massara said: “He seems like a great talent, but that's quite unlikely at the moment. I don't think Marseille would want to part with him, and in any case, there would be fierce competition.”

Man Utd make Joshua Zirkzee decision

Manchester United have decided against allowing Joshua Zirkzee to join AS Roma this month.

This has been confirmed by Roma director Massara, who told Fabrizio Romano: “Manchester United have closed all doors now with the managerial change. It looks highly unlikely to sign Zirkzee now.”

It has been reported that a move to Roma was expected to take place during the winter window, but Man Utd have made a transfer U-turn after sacking Amorim and Zirkzee now looks set to stay at Old Trafford until at least this summer.
