Arsenal have joined Manchester United in the race for Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown, according to a report.

The 22-year-old's future is increasingly becoming the subject of speculation. Brown has been one of the breakout talents in German football in recent seasons, and this is naturally attracting attention.

The Eintracht Frankfurt full-back has racked up 10 assists and four goals in 51 appearances since joining the Eagles. Brown is now a senior Germany international and widely expected to take the next step in his career in the summer.

Indeed, it was recently reported that Frankfurt are '100 per cent' convinced that Brown will be sold to a European giant in 2026, with shrewd sporting director Markus Krosche hoping for a €70 million windfall.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Man Utd are known to have scouted Brown in recent weeks. The latter, in particular, will be one to watch as Ruben Amorim has made no secret of the fact that he wants a left wing-back who can be decisive in the attack, similar to Amad Diallo on the right.

However, the Red Devils are not the only Premier League heavyweights to have taken a liking to the young full-back. According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal and Man City are also in the mix to sign Brown.

The Frankfurt star is 'well-liked' by a host of top clubs, and the report claims that Arsenal may look to pounce despite being well-stocked on the left side.

It is further asserted that Brown could be signed for just €50m, but it seems unlikely that Frankfurt would offer his suitors any discounts, given that the player has a contract until 2030. For now, Brown seems to be fully focused on Frankfurt.

A January move is out of the question as the player concentrates on keeping his place in Julian Nagelsmann's Germany team ahead of the World Cup. Brown's father is from the US, so it would be a wonderful story for the 22-year-old to make the cut for the tournament in North America.
