Arsenal prepare record-breaking offer for €150m superstar
Arsenal are preparing a €150 million offer for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, according to a bombshell report in Spain.
Mikel Arteta’s side strengthened their attacking roster with the additions of Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres this summer, however it has been widely reported that further reinforcements will be targeted in 2026.
Rumours have suggested that Arsenal may look to sign a new left winger next year, amid speculation that Gabriel Martinelli could depart, but Spanish publication Fichajes now claim that Olise has been earmarked as a top target by the Gunners hierarchy.
The France international, who was linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium during his time at Crystal Palace, has established himself as one of the world’s best players since arriving at Bayern Munich and he has now been added to Arsenal’s transfer wishlist ahead of next year.
Olise has registered 63 goal contributions in 76 games for Bayern since his move last summer and Arsenal are ready to make him their most expensive signing in history by lodging a €150m bid, as per Fichajes.
The Frenchman is reportedly open to a Premier League return in 2026, although it remains to be seen if Arsenal will firm up their interest in his signature given the fact that Bukayo Saka and the aforementioned Madueke are already competing for a starting berth on the right flank.
Arsenal’s priority plan revealed
While Arsenal have reportedly identified Olise as a possible signing for next year, they are currently focused on finalising contract extension agreements with Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber and Saka.
The Gunners are eager to tie all three players down to fresh terms as they look to maintain their position as one of the best teams in world football.
William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, David Raya and Leandro Trossard have all signed new deals at the Emirates Stadium in recent months, and the expectation is for Rice, Timber and Saka to follow suit shortly.
