Emegha agreement

Chelsea have agreed a seven-year contract with Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha, who will officially join the club next July.

The Blues finalised an agreement to sign the Netherlands international in September and football transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano has now clarified the Blues’ plan for the Netherlands centre forward.

“Emanuel Emegha’s contract at Chelsea from 2026 will run for the next seven years,” he posted on X. “Plan already clear for the striker who keeps shining at Strasbourg, leading the team in France and Europe… with next chapter at Chelsea.”

Saka contract update

Arsenal are expected to reach a contract extension agreement with Bukayo Saka “soon”, according to football transfer news expert David Ornstein.

The England superstar has just over 18 months remaining on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium and his representatives are locked in negotiations over fresh terms with the Arsenal hierarchy.

News that Saka is in talks with Arsenal over a new contract has been confirmed by Ornstein, who has revealed to The Athletic that an agreement is expected to be reached “soon.”

Konate decision

Real Madrid have informed Liverpool they have no intention of signing Ibrahima Konate on a Bosman deal next summer, despite significant speculation over the past year.

The France international has been widely tipped to secure a move to Real Madrid in 2026, however his recent form has led to Los Blancos ending their interest in his signature.

That is according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, who claims that Real Madrid “have informed their Premier League counterparts directly and unequivocally that - despite such heavy speculation - they now have no interest in recruiting the France international.”

Chelsea transfer battle

Chelsea are reportedly set to battle Arsenal and Manchester City for the signing of Poland wonderkid Oskar Pietuszewski after holding “preliminary discussions” with his representatives.

That is according to TEAMtalk, who claim that all three clubs have held “preliminary discussions” with the teenager’s representatives and are now prepared to launch formal approaches in January.

Jagiellonia are aware of the increasing interest in their prized young attacker and they have set their minimum asking price at €15 million.

Jacquet to Man Utd?

Manchester United are reportedly ready to match Stade Rennais’ €40 million asking price for Jeremy Jacquet next year after he rejected a move to Arsenal this summer.

The France U21 international is regarded as one of the best young defenders in world football and Arsenal were eager to finalise an agreement for his signature before Transfer Deadline Day after identifying him as a top target.

However, Jacquet opted to snub interest from the Gunners in favour of remaining at Rennes and CaughtOffside now report that Man Utd scouts have issued “glowing reports” about the 20-year-old. With Rennes resigned to losing the defender, they have set their asking price at a measly €40m.

Barcelona request

Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has reportedly requested three major new signings in 2026 following their 3-0 loss to Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

A Jules Kounde own goal and strikes from Estevao Willian and Liam Delap succumbed the Blaugrana to their heaviest defeat in Europe since being beaten 4-1 by Paris Saint-Germain in April 2024 and Flick is eager to be backed in the market next year.

The Spanish giants spent just €27.5 million this summer, with Joan Garcia, Roony Bardghji and Marcus Rashford (loan) their only new additions, and Flick has requested the signings of a centre-back, a winger and a striker in 2026, as per Mundo Deportivo.
