Real Madrid plot €350m Premier League raid if Vini Jr sold
Real Madrid are still planning for a spectacular transfer splurge this summer, with Los Blancos ready to invest €350 million in the market if Vinicius Junior is sold.
Los Blancos remain in the midst of a battle with the Brazil international over his contract and rumours of a fresh transfer bid from the Saudi Pro League have circulated.
Vini Jr is subject to interest worth €350m from the big-spending division, and if such a move if made, it could have massive ramifications throughout the footballing world.
Real Madrid are already planning for this outcome and have earmarked three new signings with the windfall they would get from such a world-record deal, according to Fichajes.
Los Blancos would look to the Premier League to strengthen their side. Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konate, who is out of contract in 2026, is one player they would move for, while Xabi Alonso’s side would also swoop for Manchester City ace Rodri – the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner.
In addition to this pair, Real Madrid would also sanction a move for a striker to complement the talents of Kylian Mbappe.
What’s happening with Vini Jr?
Real Madrid have been growing increasingly unhappy with Vini Jr for months. The club is frustrated that the Brazilian has persistently stalled on contract negotiations. Los Blancos believe that they are being “blackmailed” by Saudi’s interest in him, with the attacker using this to drive up his wages.
For his part, Vini Jr has reiterated his desire to remain at Real Madrid for years to come.
Both sides want to see the winger remain at the Bernabeu but there is little doubt that the relationship between them is growing increasingly tense. The Saudi Pro League could exploit that with a monster bid that would shake world football.
