Man Utd receive INCREDIBLE Jadon Sancho offer
Juventus have made Manchester United an audacious €10 million offer for Jadon Sancho, according to Italian media.
The Bianconeri have been locked in talks with the Red Devils for well over a week as they seek to find common ground for a transfer of long-time target Sancho.
Juventus were already interested in the winger in previous summers, and they feel as though this year is their best chance of finally getting their hands on the 25-year-old.
Sancho is on the market after being sent back to Man Utd by Chelsea, and the player is said to be open to heading to Italy, and Turin specifically. However, the former England international will have to lower his hefty salary demands to get his move.
Regarding a potential transfer fee, reports over the past week have suggested that the player's price won't be an issue for Juventus, but it seems that the Bianconeri are keen to ensure that they don't pay a cent more than they absolutely have to.
Juventus make comical Sancho bid
According to Sky Italia, Juventus and Man Utd held fresh talks earlier on Saturday, during which the Italian giants proposed a comically low transfer fee.
It is claimed that Juventus offered Man Utd €10 million plus potential bonuses, and unsurprisingly, it seems the bid was rejected by the Red Devils. Even for a player like Jadon Sancho, whose stock has massively plummeted in recent years, €10m is an audacious offer.
Sancho's Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €32.7m, a far cry from his 2020 peak of €98.8m. Man Utd are apparently holding out for a fee in the region of €25m-€30m for the 25-year-old.
The report seeks to explain Juventus' low offer by noting that the Bianconeri remain in talks with Porto for Francisco Conceicao and that, contrary to previous claims, they feel they can sign the Portuguese and Sancho this summer.
To do so, however, they will need to offload outcasts like Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula. Both players were recently pushed to Nottingham Forest, but this double deal ultimately collapsed. Weah is now drawing interest from Marseille, and Mbangula from Werder Bremen.
