Below, FootballTransfers runs through five major deals that could be completed this week.

Viktor Gyokeres - Sporting CP to Arsenal

Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Sporting CP forward Viktor Gyokeres within the next few days, having agreed to pay an overall package of €80 million for the Sweden international.

The exact structure of the deal hasn’t been finalised yet, although reports in Portugal indicate that Gyokeres will join Arsenal imminently.

Personal terms have been fully agreed and Gyokeres has even forfeited €2m in wages in order to force through a move to Mikel Arteta’s side.

The 27-year-old is expected to be unveiled by the Gunners shortly and he will become their third summer signing, following the arrivals of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi.

Bryan Mbeumo - Brentford to Man Utd

Manchester United have identified Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo as their priority transfer target and they have been locked in advanced negotiations for his signature for weeks.

Talks are yet to result in an agreement with Brentford, although they are set to ramp up their pursuit this week as they seek a big-money summer deal.

Mbeumo wants to join the Old Trafford outfit this summer, and Tottenham Hotspur appear to have turned their attention to signing Mohammed Kudus, meaning Man Utd are the firm favourites to land him.

The Cameroon international scored 20 Premier League goals last season and he is seen as the perfect forward for Ruben Amorim’s system.

Jadon Sancho - Man Utd to Juventus

Jadon Sancho returned to Man Utd this summer after Chelsea opted to pay a €6m penalty fee in order to cancel their obligation to sign him on a permanent deal.

He is expected to immediately depart Old Trafford, however, and Juventus are pushing to complete a transfer after failing to land him last year.

The Serie A giants have agreed a €25m transfer fee with Man Utd, as per reports, and Sancho is now close to completing a blockbuster summer move.

However, Juventus are still yet to finalise a salary proposal with Sancho, so the deal is yet to be completely finalised.

Noni Madueke - Chelsea to Arsenal

Noni Madueke has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with Arsenal and reports suggest that a summer move to the Emirates Stadium may well be inevitable.

Chelsea are open to selling the England international following the signing of Estevao Willian from Palmeiras and they have set their valuation at €58m as they look to turn an impressive profit on the winger.

Arsenal haven’t agreed a fee with Chelsea yet, but Madueke is open to the move and talks are expected to advance soon as the Gunners ramp up their pursuit.

Madueke is seen as the perfect player to provide cover on both flanks and a move across London is edging closer.

Victor Osimhen - Napoli to Galatasaray or Al-Hilal

Victor Osimhen has been a major player in the transfer world over the past year-and-a-half, but speculation could end this week as he looks set to finally leave Napoli.

Reports in Italy and Turkey state that he has chosen to re-join Galatasaray on a permanent deal, following a successful loan spell last season, with personal terms not expected to be an issue.

However, Galatasaray are yet to trigger Osimhen’s €75m release clause, which could leave the door open for Al-Hilal to hijack the proposed deal.

They have already lodged a mega contract proposal worth €160m over four years and talks are set to resume this week.
