Victor Osimhen transfer news today: ‘DONE DEAL’ announcement as monstrous contract offer made

Victor Osimhen’s has received a stunning contract offer and has never been so close to leaving Napoli, according to reports.
Man Utd’s interest genuine
Manchester United have done “serious work” on signing Victor Osimhen, according to TBR Football, which confirms the 26-year-old remains firmly on the shortlist of the Old Trafford side.
Ruben Amorim’s outfit are known to be crying out for a centre-forward and the No.9 is a player that they are said to “really like”.
Will Man Utd be pressed into a quick transfer? It appears not. TBR Football says: “United are calm at this stage and are happy with what they have done so far.”
€50m-per-year contract offer drops
Osimhen is closer than ever to leaving Napoli, with reports in Italy reporting that the Nigeria star has received a “sumptuous” offer.
Transfer market expert Armando Areniello, who specialises in Napoli, has revealed that the ex-Lille forward has been subject to a massive offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
He says in quotes relayed by ArenaNapoli: “Victor Osimhen has never been so close to leaving Napoli. Al-Hilal’s latest monstrous bid could be decisive: €50m per season for the player.
“Negotiations are underway with the Azzurri. An agreement could be reached for a figure between €60-65m.”
Osimhen has made it known that he would prefer to remain in Europe, but Saudi hope that such an extravagant sum of money may change his mind.

Osimhen ‘almost a done deal’
Osimhen is ready to accept Al-Hilal’s offer, according to Ivan Zazzaroni, editor of Corriere dello Sport, who was speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss.
“I’ll almost give it to you as a done deal. Victor Osimhen will go to Al-Hilal,” CalcioMercato reports him as saying.
“No one could match the offer – not even half of it! €40m a year is impressive.
“He didn’t want to go to the Club World Cup but there’s a lot of optimism for Al-Hilal. In my opinion, he’s going there.
“Galatasaray cannot afford to pay even half of that amount. There have been no offers from the Premier League. It would be a surprise if he didn't go there.”
While the value of the contract quoted here is below the €50m quoted elsewhere, it’s clear Al-Hilal are willing to break the bank for the striker.
Juventus hit Osimhen ‘turning point’
Napoli’s Serie A rivals Juventus continue to be linked with a move for Osimhen.
Calciomercato reports that there is a clamour from fans of the Turin giants for the Nigeria striker to join them following the 5-2 humiliation by Manchester City in the Club World Cup.
Dusan Vlahovic was singled out for criticism, despite finding the net with a late consolation in that game, but Calciomercato’s readers believe that Nico Gonzalez needs to be sold, with Osimhen arriving in return.
In a poll conducted by the Italian source, 51% of users want to see the African hitman going to Turin as Nico’s replacement. Other options were Evan Ndicka (20.4%), Matteo Retegui (10.2%) and Christian Pulisic (18.4%).
