The biggest transfer rumours and gossip from Friday, 13 June as Liverpool close in on a sensational deal to sign Florian Wirtz.
Wirtz to Liverpool agreed
After a long battle, Liverpool have reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen over a transfer fee for Florian Wirtz.
Sources vary in their reporting in the size of this deal. While The Times suggests that the total value of the transfer will be worth €135 million, Sky Sport Deutschland indicates that it will be more like €130m upfront with as much as €20m to follow in bonuses.
In either case, Wirtz will become Liverpool’s most expensive signing ever.
Reds now chasing Osimhen
Liverpool have jumped into the race to sign Victor Osimhen, according to GiveMeSport.
The Nigeria international is destined to leave Napoli this summer but has already turned down a lucrative offer to join the Saudi Pro League.

The striker has had an enormous €100 million asking price put on his head, which casts doubt over whether he really will leave.

Manchester City youngster James McAtee is another target for B04, Sky Sports reports, but the Cityzens’ asking price of €29.5m (£25m) plus bonuses is likely to be a major obstacle.
